Re(3): does power for interior lights start at drivers door switch?

I believe the connector is more behind the cluster area where all the orange hot wires meet up. Ensure that your pin switches and map light switch are not causing the over load as well. I have the re pop rear dome light from our AMC vendors and it came with a new socket and led bulb that fit into it. Doesn't stay in there well but shines bright and less heat for sure. I converted most of my interior lighting to led and got everything from superbrightleds.com. Has every type you can think of. You can splice in a led dot style that just sticks in place.
