Recall a story that dad told me about an A model came back from Qantas service and crews kept complaining about noise in a wing, inspections of all accessible space turned up nothing but noise persisted so the leading edge was dropped and a spray gun was found, Qantas denied it was theirs, and I was not a RAAF item. dad showed it to Dave HITCHINS who decided since no one claimed it he would take it, believe Jenny still has it.
