I believe the flap episode also occurred after take-off on RW 28 into the hills. A few uncomfortable moments I believe.

On another occasion I was doing a post D air test with Graeme Hayward. After doing the wild antics required to test the outflow valve, amongst the other requirements during the 4 hour flight on shut down their was still a squeak coming from the rudder pedal access. Removal of the pressure plate cover in the wheel well we found I think 6 newly born kittens. Graeme and myself took one and I believe several of the maintenance crew to one. Mine died but Graeme's survived although I am certain it was adversely affected and was always quite strange. The incident report to DAFS established Tom the cat as the NOK and feline promiscuity as the major causal factor.
