Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

But it’s always there;; __________________________________________ The female was unsure what she was feeling right now. Up until recently she had not had a relationship with any other vargs other than her father. She never thought that anything would come between her and her father. When the rest of the pups and their mother had left, Shasta had stayed. She had always been a daddy’s girl, but there was something that drew her to him. She wanted to be by his side, to always be with him and to do whatever she could to please him. That was all she had ever wanted, was to please him and live up to his expectations. The femme thought that the paid had had an understanding of each other. That he knew her desires in life and that she knew his. But apparently that had not been the case when she had happily followed Akuji to Munashii Gekko on what she thought was just another job. It had turned out to be the day that would turn her life upside down. Shasta had lost all trust in her father that day when he tried to just pawn her off to some other male as if she was goods to be sold. The tall legged femme thought that she would hate the new male she had met, Horizon. But it turned out that she did not hate him at all. She had at first glance, not giving the male a chance to explain himself to her. She had assumed that he had been in on Akuji’s plan, and she had fled the scene, not wanting anything to do with either of the brutes. But the new male had followed her, had found her in an emotional heap. A form that she had not found herself in before. Her father had taught her that certain emotions showed weakness. Often times Akuji showed no feelings whatsoever and was a hard mask, and Shasta had tried to be like that. But what had happened had been too much and all her training went out of her head. She cried in ways she had not cried before. She had lost the one and only family member she had. But now there was another being offering comfort and support to her, Horizon. If the male had truly been in with Akuji’s plans she did not think he would be acting the way he was now. His actions and words seemed honest, and Shasta had always trusted her instincts before. And she continued to trust them now. The male’s mismatched orbs met her own, and the longer that her chocolate gaze looked into his own the more that she trusted him. Shasta had never been the type to trust for no reason and to fall for every male she ran into, it was quite the opposite actually. So she knew this time had to be special, that this male was different. Was this what it was like to have a friend? She felt like this was different than friend, but she had never had a friend before to compare it to. So how was she supposed to know? Whatever it was, the female decided to go with it and see what would come of it all. Even though she had had a breakdown, all her training was still inside her. Her muscles and body knew what to do if the time would come to that, she would be able to take care of herself. So there was nothing to lose when she decided she would stay with Horizon. When the female asked if the handsome male had any plans he chuckled as he answered. “I have no plans in the foreseeable future, Shasta. I’ve never really had anyone to make time to see. I’ve lived a rather lonesome life.” It was new to the female having free time of her own. Normally she would be doing some task for Akuji or some training. Being able to make her own choices was new to her. ”I see nothing wrong with that. To be honest, you’re the first friend I’ve ever had. This is new to me too.” She gave him a warm smile, hoping that they could learn how this worked together. The brute looked away as he spoke once more to her, “If you have no other plans maybe you and I could… well I don’t know. Did you have anything in mind?” Another smile crossed Shasta’s face at his words. She didn’t care what they did as long as they spent more time together. This feeling of wanting to be with another being was still so new to her, and she didn’t know what to do with the thoughts and emotions. It was not something that she had ever talked about with her father, and she couldn’t imagine what his reaction would be if she were to try. ”Well after what happened with my father, I have nothing to do now. What do you usually do in your spare time? Are there any places you like to explore outside Munashii? Or maybe somewhere you’ve always wanted to?” The femme inched a little closer to him as she spoke, curious as to what he would say or do.
