Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Really, she ought to have been thankful for his bliss. In the seasons before, she had grown concerned with his often unusual behaviors - one might say it was strange for a wolf who had only known him some year to notice such things and yet, such was the bond that had ensnared them both. When he had stirred at night with thoughts dark and perilous, she had been quick to awaken with a desire to quell them. Though, never would she have considered a storm to be the cure for those thoughts. In any case, she had concluded it best to retain some normalcy in their interactions and though she felt joy at his joy, she kept it quiet below her usual demeanor.

He bounded ahead and she followed diligently, crunching through the snow as she paused every so often to wearily sniff at the air; she searched for any indication of another swell in the storm and, most of all, any unwanted strangers. For now, she believed it best that the wolves of Spirane keep a distance lest they give warning of their approach - strangely, though, the one wolf she had expected might come had not. Of course, she did not believe for a moment that Taika had found herself in danger. Perhaps she had merely decided to leave them be while Tithe recovered. Strange, Pandora could not help but think, that a wolf might have to recover from kingship.

"Like a rabbit," she mused at his comment of digging, pawing momentarily at the snow before she ambled after him. Then, he disappeared below it all, overtaken by white and for a moment, her head instinctively tilted. It took her a moment to catch up, her pace quickened by his disappearance, and that is when she finally witnessed his art. Though he spoke, she had taken to awe, shuffling into the den with him as her eyes slowly pored over the interior. "Is this a common thing where you are from?" The question slipped out effortlessly as her head snapped back down, tilted and eyes settled onto his.

She moved to his side, though she did not sit, and proceeded to sniff at the ice, reaching out with a paw to touch the surface; though it felt cold, the air around them had already began to feel warmer. It made sense, she thought, and yet at the same time, she wondered why she had not seen such a thing before. "What happens when spring comes once more?" Already, she despised the idea of the cave disappearing, her eyes narrowed in thought as she passed a glance back out towards the fields. Was there a way they could preserve it? Tithe had finally began to glow once more and she did not wish for that to be taken away.
