The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
To the moon and back, remember? [Orhan&Koray]

"Look at the stars and how they shine for you"
Mare - 2 - mutt - buckskin varnish roan - 16.0hh
beautiful moon-child of Orhan & Carisa

They had gone, much like the wind as it swept across the sands and in the cover of night; the perfect cover. A foolish thing to do when one was as deaf as could be and the other just a young little thing, but still, they did it. Into the sea they went, never looking back and the young one never questioned it. Why did they go you ask? Well they were missing a small, yet big part of their family, and they say a mother's maternal bond is greater than any force so whom was to stop a mother on a mission to reclaim her firstborn child? An honorable but quite stupid adventure that led them nowhere. The sea drug them out, pulling them away from the islands altogether and spitting them back out in an unknown world. Now the young girl knew her mother had been wrong, and she would have spoken up so long ago had she known what the outcome would be. The return trip home took the longest, but eventually the pair of very exhausted mares made it back to the familiar sands of Salem. Once traveling a safe distance from the tides did Carisa finally collapse, both from grief of not finding her boy and her lack of strength.

Feray went to her mother's side right as she went down, worry all over her pale face as she hovers over the older woman. Carisa couldn't find the words to say to reassure her daughter, simply laying on her side and letting her eyes close instead; enjoying the silence. Was her mother giving up? Feray lurches backwards, shaking her head; No, her mother was stupid but not that stupid. Looking away from Carisa's downed form Feray looks across the sand highlighted by the moon above. Nothing moved out where she could see, not even a whisper of wind. The pull to find her father was strong but her mother needed her for a while longer. She turns from the welcoming landscape of sand to the moonlit waters, watching as they crawled up the beach and then receded back.

While things may not have gone like she expected Feray was forever grateful for her friend the moon. So big and pale, accompanied by its millions of stars that twinkled overhead; yes, she was very grateful.

Feray;
dante
