Disaster! ...Or is it? Surprisingly, the storm's snow thawed into the river without any real concerns. However, all that extra water had to go somewhere and it went straight into the plant life! Not only are the fields beautiful right now with lush green grass and thousands of colourful wild flowers but it is also host to a new kind of herd: rabbit warrens but not just one - dozens! In fact, the field almost seems to be infested with these cute little creatures. All over, there are new rabbit holes and rabbits both young and old alike. Throughout spring, they will continue to breed and grow, dispersing over the fields and nibbling away at all that vegetation. It's like a feast for the local predators!
