As much as he said it there really wasn’t any way she could not be sorry. She was sorry, she didn’t mean for the situation to happen somehow, someway, she was supposed to prevent it even though she knew that really she couldn’t have in anyway. Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew she didn’t have anything to be sorry for but the other part of her just couldn’t not feel any other way. It was rooted into her very being and something that wasn’t really easily changed in her. Her ears tilted back slightly when he repeated there wasn’t really anything for her to be sorry for. Before she could say there was he continued stating that he was the one who got in her way and because of it knocked her over.

She only felt worse as he flexed his paw giving a small whine. ”You are hurt!” She said her voice giving a mix of extreme guilt, and displeasure that he would have lied to her. But then again her own back end hurt quite a bit but she was being a bit more careful to hide her bruised hip. It was upsetting that her being in the way got him hurt.

Thankfully though he just ran into her and not any bad wolves. He said he was good at protecting himself, and she believed him for the most part. He had to be okay if he was still alive and young as her. He was pretty big on his own but it seemed he lucked out by not running into anyone bad. That in itself was probably some kind of trait. Luck seemed to be genetic or something. Soma just had constant bad luck so maybe with Aiden around her luck would improve? She didn’t really know.

She explained to him about Taviora, her family and how she wasn’t far and safe there when Aiden said he would be taking her home of course! He was about to ask when there was a lot of noise and she crunched down in fear. She didn’t immediately recognize the voice of her sister calling out to her in such a way. It sounded more like a banshee attack! She quivered slightly but soon her little hero was standing in front of her putting himself between the sounds and Soma.

Though a few moments later her fear immediately vanished being replaced by glee followed by sheepishness then a bit of fear. There was clearly some degree of kith-ness between the two. As the grey girl spoke it caused Soma to wilt. She didn’t say anything, her now named hero was called Aiden and Soma fell silent not sure what to say to her sister as she declared that their mom would be mad. ”I-I know… sorry Masque… now you’re in trouble too.. But I was just getting ready to come home, I-I made a friend. She would be happy about that… I think.”

Really she didn’t know but she looked to Aiden as if wondering if he really was her friend, then realized he probably wasn’t yet. Did friendships happen that fast? He was so nice and she did like him. What did he think of her? She still didn’t realize that she hadn’t given him her name. ”We can all go home together now? Right?”
