Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

senketsu
four - homeless - heartless - soulless

Senketsu laughed at her rather blunt statement, his own stomach growling in response. "Tabemono yoi aidea no yō ni kikoemasu." Her next words cause him to tilt his head slightly, his maw stretching in a cheeky, wolfish grin. The male had become quite an exemplary hunter of small prey during his travels- he was light and fast, quiet, quick. "Watashi wa anata o oshieru koto ga dekimasu. Watashi wa, anata ga kangaeru koto ga yoriyoi hantādesu." With that, he saw her raise her head and sniff the air, and he raised an eyebrow. Perhaps not a fantastic hunter, but she must be quite skilled if she could pick out the scent of prey on the wind from this distance. Her exclamation comes quickly and even quicker she is off, and Senketsu with her, letting his long and slender legs stretch out as he matches her pace, following just behind her.

Before long, they had arrived at the fields- he felt that it had been a good thing, to stretch his legs before a meal. The scent of rabbits hung heavily in the air, and as his crimson eyes scanned the terrain in front of him, he noticed the warren, almost unreal in its size. He glanced over at Koi, his tail giving a few excited wags. This was simply a feast waiting to happen. Senketsu let himself howl along with her, lending his own raspy song to hers.

When they had finished their call, he lowered his head. "Anata wa tanin no tame ni naze denwa shimashita ka? Kore ga watashitachi no tame ni subete o sa rete iru kanōsei ga!" He teased. Senketsu motioned for her to watch him as he saw a rabbit, fattened on the post-storm greenery, poke its head out of one of the many holes. Tentatively, it emerged, not yet catching sight or scent of the two wolves standing some distance away. He dropped into a crouch and crept forward, minding the scattered holes, before he made his move.

His tail flagged and he sprung forward, darting this way and that as he chased his quarry. The commotion above ground drove the other rabbits to investigate, and soon there was a veritable swarm of lagomorphs darting around aboveground. Senketsu finally caught up with the one he was chasing, and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. He raised his head, rabbit carcass swinging from his jaws. "Koi, sō ōku arimasu! Saki ni iki, chōdo watashi ga okonatta yō ni!"
