It was a F.E of course. In the Sixties the Butterwort Courier was known as the Changi Local Purchase, where the Flight Engineers would purchase large quantities of "Tickler & Ribbed Condoms and sold them for a profit amongst the tenants of the Married Quarters in Sth. Windsor, where all the laughter etc. resulting in the area being referred as the happiest suburb in the area. { 1) Note they were sold at a profit which the good old F.E. sent buying beer for the L.M.s (1) I have just being reading Grimm Bros Fairy Tales.
