Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sarabi

Her brother was a fool she wouldn’t allow any part of her own to be destroyed. Perhaps she stayed because she wanted the nearness or maybe it was to torment his soul. She would never fully understand but she knew well enough she would defy him again; even with fang and claw for her children. Sarabi’s mind churning driving her into a further rage and body into a restless pace.

She drew herself from her home to an abandoned den she had found weeks ago it was rather nice but not as hidden as her reclusive nature desired. She kept this place clean of her scent and even in her crazed fury she took the same precautions. She would be weak she knew, labor was difficult on a mother she remembered as she wondered where Thantos roamed hoping to keep him from her brother as well but she knew something would have to give.

Her thoughts were paused finally feeling a pain she knew all too well and yet it was one she resisted for as long as nature would permit. Her mind clawed at her to do as nature demanded but the more she denied nature of what it wished she would pay for it. She knew now she held no further hand in times demands as a burning pain she didn’t recall spread through her abdomen, her eyes that were widened in pain also searched for him; in rage, fear, and pain she panted as she slipped into a most painful birth.

She knew there was blood involved and yet this was too much even as she held the quiet girl between her paws as she cleaned she knew somethings gone terribly wrong. She looked so familiar to under and yet perhaps just dark enough to sooth her mind despite the next wave of contractions she felt. She left the girl to nurse as her body went through the motions once again.

The child was clearly adamant even fresh out of the womb the child screamed and growled, he looked so similar to herself and yet his mouth drew a growl of her own. She cleaned him quickly and was desperate to force him into silence by offering him a place to nurse; he would draw him he and this was not something she could afford right now. Her head lowered to the earth and she let herself drift in and out of conscience keeping her senses enough to listen for an arrival; hidden or not she couldn’t be ill prepared.
