When solid ground grows soft with emerald moss and rivulets of black mud, and coffee-colored water pours slowly around the trunks of densely carpeted trees, this marks the beginning of Laod Mor: the swamp of Blossom Forest. Time itself seems to slow to a soporific crawl . . . the humid jungle air grows stagnant, thick with the scent of rich flooded earth and an abundance of green things that can be found nowhere else—except perhaps Caidir Olc. In some areas of the swamp, water rises so high the only way to cross it is to crawl across fallen logs or massive roots arching from their liquid beds; in other places a wolf might wade easily through the mire—or find a fortunate stretch of mostly dry earth. Pieces of the great river, Glaesfaet Sceawere, also slice through from time to time: small falls that feed into surprisingly clear pools, only to terminate into tar-like pits. Of course, Laod Mor’s beauty shines brightest at night. Here, fireflies gather at all times of the year . . . suffusing the shadowy place with millions of twinkling lights.

Those looking to hunt here of course find a myriad of water prey, including caiman, turtles, fish, crayfish, otters, and toads.

It's Chaos Up In My Head
My Demons Are My Best Friends

He was her everything - Her love, her life, her reason for breathing. Yet here she was, alone once more. Her darkness only grew, her once warmed heart that she feared had been done after Signless was murdered seemed to rot away again. Lucifer was her only love, the only thing she ever knew she loved. He left her at the altar, their wedding was to bind them together forever. But that never happened. Everything left her grasps. She held two crowns in her lifetime, only to have one ripped from her and the other passed away to whomever claimed it. She couldn't stay there in Malignant. Not where everything - Even the crows whispered his dammed name.

She swore that she'd kill him if she saw him. His army and everything left with him it seemed, Malignant went silent as she did. Soon enough she fled from her home, her palace. It was not good for the Queen to stay there. The raveness would never love again it seemed. No one could steal her heart in such a way that he did. Sometimes she thought he still held it. She retreated to the falls - A place of beauty, mystery, spirits and darkness. A place that she could hide and no one would bother her. She spent days in days just thinking over her life, how much better it would have been if she had not followed Lucifer. If she would have stayed on the mountain and froze.

She dabbled now however in witchcraft, hexes, and even vampirism. Something she learned to do herself. Her mismatched orbs settled at the river banks as she waited for the last ray of sun to disappear and the souls of the night to come out and play. Who could she feed from today? Meals didn't satisfy her hunger anymore, only blood. Her nares sniffed the air as she came put of her den, made under a pine tree and nestled into the root system. Winter was here and with that she knew of mating season. It only angered her more. Lucifers words, he filled her head with lies and she was stupid enough to believe it. The raveness looked down at the waters surface, her talons digging into the bank.

"My enemy will not be the end of me."
Ashes, Ashes, We All Fall
