The lines of the Narrator
Once upon a time, in a pack land far away, there was a starving carrying mother, on the edge of a lush, prey filled meadow ruled by a lone Witch. This Witch was cruel, and said to have magical powers. Any who hunted on her land without permission, would be punished.

And so, when the time came, and Rapunzel was born, her mother cherished every moment she could with the white bundle of fur. The pup was weened early, and given to the Witch within the first days of her eyes opening. Rapunzel's mother was sent on her way. But then, one day, as a prince from the near-by pack was wandering, following the trail of elk, he came across a cave. The cave was up an incline, and had clearly hidden, for a while at least. Seeing this cave, the Prince came back the next day. Behind the bushes, he saw a wolf order another to drop her tail. So, he returned the third day, to try his luck as the words which brought down the very, very long tail.

Day after day, the Prince came back, and day after day, Rapunzel spoke to him, and their trust in one another began to grow. Of course, the Witch had no clues at all about this, for she spent her days hunting for two.
Sadly, her mother did not take it as well as she thought she would. In an instant of hearing about a male who not only spoke with her taught, be wished to be her mate, the witch quickly dragged Rapunzel down into the deepest part of the cave, and toss her in a pit. The first time, Rapunzel tried to climb out, using her long tail. The second time, the Witch used a rock and her teeth, and cut off Rapunzel's tail, to no more than a inch of length, and tossed her down once more. This time, she could not escape.

The Witch laughed, throwing down the cut off tail in front of the horrified Prince. Her cackles echoed across the land.
The cut-off tail had caught on some rocks. Using this tail, the Prince climbed up the incline, and began to fight the Witch. It was a young male wolf in his prime, versus an aged, old female. The Prince won with flying colors, and tossed her limp body down the incline.

And so, following the howls of his beloved, the Prince found Rapunzel, and using the severed tail, helped her climb out of the pit.

Filled with love and joy, the two raced over grassland and forest, tundra to mountain, and reached the Prince's kingdom. Brimming with joy, the prince introduced Rapunzel to his mother and father.

And so, with his love by his side, Thunder and Rapunzel lived happily, ever, after!
