Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The vampiress soared overhead toward Ice Mountain, still a bit surprised that Maedhros had agreed so easily to make her the queen. Of course, she had made a good point when she had spoken to him--as the king, he needed an heir, lest other creatures try to claim the kingdom after his death; and the heir had to have royal blood. Arodeth, being of a different royal bloodline from that of the F�anorians, believed that she couldn't legally claim the throne herself, even though she was the duchess, unless she became Maedhros's mate. And the two wolves were now making it official.

She landed on the snowy peak, unbothered by the cold temperature thanks to her naturally thick fur. Back where her and Maedhros's families came from, wedding ceremonies involved a bit of exchanging gifts. The gems that could supposedly be found here would be perfect for the occasion, the Arctic she-wolf thought. She immediately began looking for some shiny stones.

It didn't take Arodeth long to find her and Maedhros's birthstones: an amethyst and a ruby, respectively. They were small enough that she could hold both of them in her maw at the same time. Seeing as this was all she really needed, she picked them up and turned around, ready to fly back to the gang.
