OK, I use Dillo as my main browser, which doesn't support javascript or flash or any of the other nonsense - it is fast an light and serves my sites I visit adequately - I have to use Firefox for sites that need all the nonsense like banking etc, but still use uBlock Origin.

Anyway, experimenting, I found an add-on called 'toggle JS' for Firefox (see the link below).

One little button to click on/off. The advantage of turning off JS is that the browser doesn't have to look at the code, so everything renders faster (i.e. you don't need an add-on to block anything).

I just experimented on here, and it works great.

So that is another tool in my war chest!
