Summer for Another Week? IP: 22.214.171.124 Posted on September 18, 2016 at 09:06:42 PM by T
Our summer weather is sticking around as long as it can. As I type this it is 70 degrees
at 9PM with thunderstorms here Sunday night. This week we will see temperatures
hover right around the 80 degree mark for highs. Low temperatures around 55 - 60.
After Monday morning, we have little chance of rain for the remainder of the week.
A few sprinkles possible on Tuesday with a weak cold front. Another weak front
around Friday into Saturday. But even that front could be starved of moisture.
So if you put down grass seed like me, you will have to keep watering.
At first it looked like we would cool down for next weekend, back into the 60's.
But now that is in question and we may stay mild. I think we do cool down
for the last few days of the month. At least into the 60's for highs.
But that may be just for a few days as we could be mild again for the start
of October. October is looking to be above normal in temperatures. Even right
through November and possibly December, our temperatures could be a bit
warmer than normal.
