Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She didn’t come for herself. She came for them. While it certainly brought some peace to her mind she still wanted it for them mostly. Him being there or him not mattered a lot in what she would do for the puppies that currently squirmed around within her. She needed to know though and that was why she was digging right to the heart of the matter so quickly. Still even his reply regarding her daughter was good to hear. She thought they no longer had their alliance, but he was saying that Glorall would help Taviora in hunting whoever had harmed Solstice down. Maybe that was more because it was Zeltzin’s daughter than Taviora’s member though. Still it made her happy to know that he would help if they found him or asked.

She watched him carefully though as she went into why she actually was here. Why he was hardly an emotional wolf she still watched his eyes and ears for any twitch of anything that could betray any notation of feeling. As she spoke she noticed his copper eyes wander to her growing sides but still he didn’t show much else to her. Curiosity perhaps? But he was curious about all things. Zeltzin wasn’t sure what he thought of anything and as silence seemed to set over them she felt more anxious than before. She knew it he didn’t know how to answer because it wasn’t something he wanted. He was trying to think of a way to get out of it she was certain, but as his eyes wandered to meet hers her ears twitched surprised by his answer.

Whatever she wanted? She was confused she had come to see what he wanted and he wanted what she wanted? She guessed it made since... knowing what she wanted surely would influence him, but she wanted to make sure it was what he wanted too. It was still important. Her eyes went to Suomi for a moment, looking to her for some support but really it was her choice now wasn’t it? She wasn’t sure what Suomi would prefer, but something told Zeltzin she might thing they were better off without… but that wasn’t what Zeltzin wanted, she wanted a family and that was her answer. ”I want you to be their father. I want us to be a family, to whatever degree we can with me in Taviora and you continuing to take care of your home.”. She doubted he would ever be the paradigm of fatherhood, but them having their father was still important to her so long as he didn't look upon them as a burden. Whatever that made them would be seen she guessed. Probably it would make Zeltzin and Eden nothing to one another despite whatever she felt they should be after having children together and really that wasn't important in the bigger picture. She didn’t think Eden was the mate taking type, especially not for this reason. He had children with another female before and he didn’t take her on as his mate based on what she gathered from Eloah. So Zeltzin figured she needed to let that desire go.

She knows nothing of Achyls how she, in some way, seemed to hurt him, but she would never leave the children they created. When he said he would be better than his own she thought she knew what he meant. To her understanding his father wasn’t in the picture at all, though she had no idea who his father was, she guessed he was some random male that his mother had been attracted too, Zeltzin knew nothing of Eden’s mother either of course. His next question though almost felt as though he cut her. She looked wounded that he would even question such a thing, ”I’ve loved them the moment I knew I had them. They are my children.” She said ears falling back her voice clearly hurt. She didn’t know what he had been through with the other mother of his children. She didn’t know one abandoned them and the other seemed to despise their existence. Zeltzin was far from either. Still she thought he should have known better. If she didn’t love them why would she bother to come to the male that made them in the first place?

Did he want this at all? Sure wanting to know what she wanted was important, but like with what he asked her she needed to know what look he would give them. Would he resent them? Would he care about them at all? She needed to know what it was he wanted now that he knew how she felt. ”So I ask again, do you want to be their father? If you don’t want it then… don’t come. I want you to be there, but you have to want it too. I don’t want you there if you are going to resent being there because it was what I wanted of you. I will not have my children being looked at like they are burdens.” It was nearly a challenge in some way and about as aggressive as the female could ever be. She would never be out right mean, but her children were very important to her and the only thing worth her getting up in arms over. That went for everyone around her. Suomi she was sure would care for them just because they were hers alone, Zeltzin wouldn’t tolerate anyone around them in their lives if she thought they would treat them poorly for blood alone. That didn’t matter, it was why she, without hesitation, had taken in Scarlett, Ilias and Solstice. She never judged for blood. Everyone took their own paths for their own reasons, now she just needed to see what way Eden would choose here.

"I'm due in a month's time, so you have time to figure that out for yourself. So please, think about what works for you too and is best for them." She implores to him her eyes locking onto his copper ones. He had time to figure it out either way, but if he needed time she would understand and he had it.
