Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Despoina
A Little Misunderstood

Despoina continued to viciously attack any rabbits she could find. The pups and Eleanor were more than capable to hunt and get food for themselves, but she could try to be nice this time. Each time a rodent stuck its head up she would pounce on it. Their stupidity was astounding, though maybe it was just the fact there were so many that even the holes they had dug for themselves were too overrun to offer them safety. A particularly stupid rabbit jumped erratically away from her. Instinct drove it to twist and it turned directly into her path, just as another set of paws stepped into it as well.

A low growl of surprise issued from her lips. Her hackles rose as her head did, slate eyes glaring at the male who stepped up to her while hunting. She had thought he would have been too distracted by the others in the fields to pay her any mind. If it had not been his cautious approach and the awkwardness in which he approached her, she may have snapped the smile off his jaws. Instead, she grudgingly heard him out.

Obviously he was right. Something important had happened. She did not bite him in the face for getting too close. Either he was special, or Despoina was growing as a wolf. Her ears flattened with distaste at either option.

Senketsu. Despoina. She introduced herself shortly, with very little formality. What do you think has happened? It was honestly more time and attention she had given anyone outside of her pack in a long time. Eyes narrowing, she sat beside her pile of rabbits to hear him out, curious about what this man thought was important. Apparently more important than her collecting corpses for her family.
