Time heals all most wounds...I heal the rest

The beast in front of her sighed and slouched, actually managing to show empathy for her as she told her tale of murderous thoughts. 'That's horrible. I'm sorry you went through that.' But immediately afterward she closed back in on herself, not wanting to allow him access to her soul... But her mind was already wandering back to the day that she had found Aindreas - torn to pieces himself but still he carried the delicate frame of the slip of a victim. She was, herself, in worse shape than Aindreas, mainly due to her emotional wounds... Though she could also boast a dislocated shoulder. 'What did he do to her? The poor young girl? Did she have a name?' Hellene shivered as images flickered through her mind's eye. Blood pouring from the most private of places, speaking volumes about how she had been ravaged. "It went far past injuries from battle. She no doubt tried to fight but even if she had been trained, his sheer size would have overcome her, from what Aindreas said. Flesh was torn from flesh, muscle torn from muscle, sinew from sinew. He made it so that she could not run and popped bone from joint, and then ravaged her. Her flowered innocence was stolen from her, her most precious gift taken before it could be presented to her beloved..."

Hellene shook her head, worrying about the faeling who was so wounded that she had felt the need to flee in the night without so much as a single word to her savior or her lover. "Her name was Losa. The poor little bird did not have much memory of her past and it bothered her.... And how sad it was that the small amount of memory that remained was now flawed by her attack." Hellene turned away from Mabbit sharply to furiously blink away the tears that had formed in her eyes. Not only out of sadness of what had happened, but also because the fact that Hurricane had never once looked at her differently. He loved her so thoroughly and fully that even though she was no longer pure, she was still perfect in his eyes. In all of her life, Hellene had never had that sort of love. The few brutes that she had ever begun to develop feelings for had all left. Beloved had disappeared as soon as she had healed him of his wounds. Brendon Urie had mysteriously disappeared too...

Slowly, Hellene turned back to look at the brute and shared a small, uncharacteristic smile with him. "I don't know where she is now... Nor do I know where Draven is. I worry for any that do not choose to live within the safety of a pack... He is a monster that needs to be put down for the good of all." It was tired vocals that spoke this - tired words. She was thankful for her own safety, living as she did in the borders of Aurora Borealis. But life was passing her by - her pups were grown and did not need her anymore, and her years of adventuring with Athene were done. The pack still needed her and relied on her... But that was her job. At the end of the day when she retired to her bed, in the privacy of her den... Who was she now? She had no family who needed her. Sheepishly, she coughed. "Well, I guess that is enough of that sad subject. So... Now that I've apparently misjudged you, at least by your count... What does bring you here?"
