Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Kattari

No Pack - No Mate - No Soul - Eric x Seline

It had been some years since she had come here.

A low growl had escaped her maw, not one of anger but more a purr of pleasure to finally put her mismatched paws once again on Moladion soil. Neither of her parents were from these lands, yet she was born here it was home. She had run away the day of the hunt, the bison had gone wild and trampled over her much more rambunctious sister killing her nearly instantly beneath its hooves. They had gained victory, but Kattari had lost. She returned later her sister’s remains were not abandoned but it seemed some of the wolves had given her space to mourn the death of her twin. Mourning wasn’t exactly what she did… She consumed ripped open the chest of her sibling, ripping out her heart and consuming it making her sister part of herself making Kattari all the stronger for it. Satanican ritual perhaps, but Kattari did it not for the thrill of the hunt but to make herself more powerful. Eat the hearts of your enemies and gain their strength for the next battle. She didn’t prey on the weak as her mother had, for what purpose would consuming a weak heart get her? No the weak she followed her father’s path, draining them slowly of their life source. She didn’t get as much pleasure as her father had from it, she didn’t demand to drink the blood of those around her. Really she was probably more… functional, normal in some ways… but it didn’t mean if she didn’t find a strong opponent she wouldn’t try to take their heart out if challenged.

After consuming her sister’s heart she left Moladion. She had nothing here to really bind her. It was Melisandre’s own fault for being wrecked as she was. Kattari herself knew her sister wasn’t exactly the most clever of the two of them, but she wasn’t weak, just sometimes foolish. She was always acting like a child to Tobias, submitting herself in an embarrassing manner in order to placate him. Never did Kattari embarrass herself in such a manner. She was more dominant, unable to submit herself to anyone she didn’t respect fully and for whatever reason the old cannibal immediately earned her adoration. It was easier to do towards males than females, Kattari didn’t find herself able to bend to females easily, hence why she felt no need to go back to the plains that she had called home. She still wouldn’t. It didn’t mean she didn’t sniff the stale scents on the borders of her old home before continuing onto Ruieze Fields, noting that her brothers and father seemed to be gone. Her mother had long since vanished, but Kattari thought she remembered… someone else. She was young but she thought she remembered a silvery female, not that it was important anymore. That was what felt like an entirely different lifetime. Kattari was grown now and the last couple years had given her the chance to rebuild herself into something better.

The mottled female paused suddenly at the shift in wind. Someone was coming towards her while she was lost in her thoughts. Someone from the mountains. Yes she remembered all these smells and it was interesting to see that still the same queen from when she was last here still ruled. She scoffed slightly turning her bright blue eyes upon him. One was obviously blinded and foggy but it never once bothered her. She learned over the years to deal with it and as he approached her hackles rose making her appear even larger than him, though otherwise she didn’t show any other sign of aggression towards him. He spoke, completely neutral and unaggressive and honestly a tad uninteresting yet he was the first wolf of Moladion to speak with her so she would entertain his pleasantries.

”No one really has seen me around here before. So it’s unsurprising.” Her voice is light and surprisingly feminine. ”Except maybe those in Asteraia since little seems to change around here. Even the mountains seems to have retained the same Queen.” An almost mischievious grin crossed her maw oh how fun would it be to tumble a few packs over and eat the hearts of the alphas? Oh that would be most amusing! But Kattari had absolutely no interest in being a Queen like her mother had supposedly been in her home land. Still what did this brute want with her? She was just the tiniest bit curious and she was sure he would tell her soon enough.
