Outline of the Plot:
The heavy snowstorms experienced this past winter have created a reaction resulting in summer arriving with higher than average temperatures coupled with lack of rainfall.

Effects:
- Lack of rainfall causes many less established water sources to disappear while larger sources will be noticeably less.
- Daily extreme temperatures will leave individuals more susceptible to overheating, dehydration, and fatigue, impacting packs with smaller water sources.
- A large portion of grasses and foliage of all kinds will wither causing less prey who feed on this vegetation to be available.
- Dry grasses will also leave much of the free lands and packs with large amounts of vegetation vulnerable to wild fires caused by the sudden short, fierce thunderstorms which may roll through.

In Short:
- Packs such as Diveen, Glorall, and Iromar with limited water sources may struggle to find enough drinkable water to sustain their population.
- Packs such as Taviora, Spirane, and Asteraia with large amounts of vegetation may be more susceptible to wild fire.
- Herbivorous prey will become scarce due to lack of a food source, this may also cause other carnivores to look elsewhere for food.
- Characters may suffer from the extreme heat and lack of water, especially the very young and old.

Guidelines:
- This is a staff run plot which players may get into as much or as little as they like.
- While in the free lands you may request whatever disasters you would like, and can provide an outline to a staff member to approve and post for you. However if you wish to have a large related disaster (ie: wildfire) within a pack please get permission from the respective alpha first before requesting.
- The coming of fall will signal the break of the drought.
- Remember to have fun! This can affect your characters/plots as much or as little as you want it to.
