Not again the she-wolf sighed as she looked up. Weather never seemed to stay put around here, and it always seemed to go very fast. A-ways away, the trees swayed ominously. It made her lay her ears back and look around. The area she’d entered had lots of shelter at least, with the four million rocks here. Dipping her head, the female quickly gulped down as much water as she could as the wind hit her head on. It howled in her ears, and Amber turned, literally jumping into the nearest cave. Anything would be considered safety right now with wind uncaring if it carried her halfway out to sea.
Looking into the darkness, Amber remembered the time she had wandered in there with a male wolf. It felt like it had been years ago, and she didn't feel like going any deeper. Instead, the she-wolf sat down at the entrance and stared out, watching the rain hit the rocks. It seemed like an entire ocean was being dumped onto her. And yet, more just kept coming. Her mother had told her how the sun warmed water, which then floated up to become clouds. When they could no longer hold the growing amount of water, the clouds let it fall until they could bare the weight, and it started all over again as the water trained into lake and oceans, only for the sun to heat it once more. She hoped these clouds hadn't been very heavy.
