Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Would Tithe like them? She hadn't considered it all that much before they had been born. It seemed natural to like them, she supposed, and yet now that she was faced with their squished in faces and lack of ears, she wasn't entirely sure. She guessed they were cute on some level at least, like a helpless young rabbit and yet, would Tithe like them? She felt a...stirring for them, at least. If he wasn't sure of them, she'd keep them nonetheless. After all, she had spent fathomless amounts of energy to create them and so, it would be a waste of an investment to let them go! Besides, they were interesting. Already, now that she had time to really look at them, she could see the distinct differences between the two. Though they would take weeks to grow into their colours, she already noted that the first had been born paler in shade, a warmer tone compared to the darker, cooler pup that had come later. She supposed the first might take after her eventually and the second? Well, Tithe. An even split.

When he stuck his head into the den, he was met with her eyes instantly, head tilted slightly as if surprised by his sudden arrival; in actuality, she was surprised by the fleeting emotions that seemed to wash over him. He seemed confused him which, in turn, made her feel more comfortable about her own confusion. Despite the slight weary quiver in her leg, she managed an amused grin - a little proud even - as he spoke. "You may," she confirmed, sheepishly grinning as she finally noticed her own awkward posture.

With that, she allowed herself to flop onto her side, rearranging the children briefly as Tithe scrambled down. She placed them side by side despite their protest, sprawled out across her pale belly for him to see. They squirmed and kicked, displeased with their sudden upheavel but she nosed at them nonetheless. "The firstborn is the pale one," she noted, pressing her nose into the child's tummy gently, "I think he looks a bit smaller than the other. Oh, yes, two boys by the way!" She gleamed, seemingly proud of that achievement. "As for this one," she poked the darker one then, "he seems a bit...tubbier, I suppose. I believe his colour must come from you or my mother's side. Though, I do suppose my father's father was quite dark in colour. Or so I'm told at least." She seemed to tilt her head in momentary thought but the moment passed with a shrug and she returned to gleaming up at Tithe with her two prizes.

"Do you think they will grow fast?" She hadn't even stopped to consider something as basic as a name! "How long until they walk do you think? I wonder if they'll prefer pigeon or hare...I think I ought to be able to hunt rather soon, actually. Mother will be happy about that!" She seemed to ramble, nuzzling them as she did so and pushing them back into the folds of her fur, burying them almost so that they might feed.
