Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

I had a rather lonely life, I suppose. My father was not exactly a social man. In fact, he always a nervous wreck. I was never sure if I believed his ramblings. I never got to meet my grand parents, and my mother was not from the land my father hailed from. My mother was such a sweet woman though- I don't know why she chose my father, but I still love the man despite his flaws. However, it did mean that I grew up rather alone.

I was their only child. I made up much of my fun with my imagination, and the stories my father and mother told me. My thoughts drifted to them- and how I had to follow my wanderlust. My golden eyes seem to fade a bit for a moment with the bright flowers. Truthfully, I had gotten lost, and I was never able to find my way back. I don't think I ever will, and I just had to make the best of it. They say you never stay with your parents part puphood anyway. I just don't want them to worry.

Perhaps I was too drawn into my inner thoughts, because I was damn well surprised when I heard the voice of a male. I yelped in surprise, scrambling to my feet as the flowers fell from me. I look at him with my bright eyes surrounded in black. I stare at him for a moment, with his green gaze, and I kept a single paw up to my chest as I examined him. He does not...seem...threatening right now. Looking for a friend?

"Oh uh, friend? Oh, I...no I have not seen anyone, sorry," I say with a bit of hesitation. I somehow feel that his stare is...funny. I let my paw lower. The trees move slightly in the wind, allow more flowers to fall onto me as the flecks of light allow my golden to shine through my more blackened fur.

"What does he, uh, look like though? If I see him, I will let him know that uh...you are looking for him? You are?" I ask, tilting my head slightly.

"You have the fur of fire," I say with a slight giggle. I have only seen fire once when I was a pup after a lightning storm. It was powerful stuff that I would never mess with, and apparently stuff that one can control...although I that is just a story. I like to pretend I can do it in my mind though.
