I'm Starting to Feel Like a Dungeon Dragon
IP: 98.165.255.78

NAME
Jagger
AGE
4
GENDER
Female
EYE COLOR
A bright cerulean blue
APPEARANCE
Jagger inherited most things from her father. Standing at 30 inches and weighing 130 pounds in total, she is as large as some males. She adores this fact and uses it to her advantage, making sure she knows how to throw her weight around. Most of her bulk is made up of lithe musculature as her frame is more slender than hulking. Her fur is thick and black, the only disruption being a smattering of white tipped hairs on her chest. She is missed the tip of her left ear and has a multitude of scars all over her body though most are hidden by her fur. Her most noticeable feature aside from the missing ear tip being the jagged, rough scaring along her hind leg as if something had attempted to rip the limb off of her.

IMPRINTABILITY -

He was thinking again. He had this...faraway, almost dreamy look in his eyes, though Melody couldn't say if it was more of a nightmare he was thinking about as she watched him. She kept trying to puzzle out just hat was happening, but she kept drawing a blank. Her mind kept cycling back to the fact that if she had just stayed home, bundled up with her blankets and a good book or one of her favorite Nintendo games, this would have never happened. Any of it. At least, not like it was happening at this exact moment. The weather could change things, the temperature. Whether this room they were in held other people instead of just them. Just the two of them. Even though she had dressed in layers, the cold of the marble was beginning to seep through her tights and make her legs cold in their position; tucked under herself now as she just looked at him.

Of course Melody knew about Basilisks and Djinn and all manner of other, nonhuman species; she was one of them herself! Her family, her mother especially, made sure she was well educated about them as a child. They had almost made it seem like a requirement to be an angel, especially a born angel. She could list off the general lifespans -more or less- of a handful of other species, and do the same for usual traits seen in that species. Like fire powers for Phoenixes, and the Dragons' ability to turn things into crystal if the things were exposed to their fire for long enough. Unfortunately that was as far as most of her knowledge went. Especially when it came to Djinn, it seemed like no one had really seen one up and in person for years.

She slowly pieced together what likely happened to him as they sat there on the floor together, her still in shock that she brought him back to life after at least a hundred years of being encased in stone and him trying to make the fact that all those years had gone by register in his mind, most likely. She supposed that he must have angered a Basilisk, but not angered one so much that they drained his entire life force from him. Even at the thought of such a thing happening she suddenly felt sick to her stomach, so much so that she almost slapped a hand over her mouth just in case she really did start to vomit all over the marble flooring. It frightened her how suddenly, inexplicably attached she was to him, but that could be worried about later.

...Right?

She tried to ignore his first comment about her looking like her aunt, knowing he didn't mean anything by it. Of course he would say something like that; he knew her. Seeing her, seeing Melody, must have been a major shock to his system and she couldn't really blame him for that. Besides, her focus was now shifted to the rings he held out to her. They were gold but unassuming, simple. Beautiful, in her mind. But she couldn't take them. She started to shake her head rapidly, bringing her hands to gesture as well, waving them in front of her for the universal sign of "no thank you." "I couldn't." They were obviously important to him. She couldn't just...she couldn't just take them.
