She sits quite calmly in such a very eerie way, those dark sapphire eyes holding such a deadly edge in them. Too all her visitors she is capable of being calm and at least, conversational. After all being an Alpha didn’t mean she had to get along with everyone. She could make friends and enemies if she wanted to or create no sort of relationship with another. The Monster was not easy to please, but she was extremely easy to anger and irritate. It was true her age was getting to her and yet she didn’t allow that to get in her way. Those old bones and wise mind were still capable of talking to one another, making the Monster a far too experienced threat to deal with. It was a trait she had instilled in her own children and a trait she expected them to carry on. As she listens to the male speak of what he heard of her pack and recognizing that she was quite capable of defending her own, a venomous sneer appeared on her black lips, as her sly voice seeped out carefully, brandishing an underlining threat to her visitor.
“Some rumors are entirely true that no one dares to test it. Are you standing before me wishing to?”
After all these scars that littered her entire frame was not there just for showing off. Each scar that was left upon her skin was evidence that she was a creature that was capable of surviving anything and also destroying anything that came her way. While she listens to the male explain this child and what use he would have to her, the Monster’s mind already started churning. There was a reason why this stranger wanted to bring the child, out of all places within the packs, to hers. It was fair for her to believe he felt that it would be destroyed here, bearing him no burden, and yet why should she allow him such an easy answer to his problem. Oh no, she would fix this in her own way, doing what she wanted, only by allowing him to believe he had won. Boldly she speaks about her own child, when she had done something similar, and well not so similar.
“I had promised my first daughter to the Alpha of Iromar, and she had become such a worthy asset to him and the Alpha after him. I do not accept weakness within my pack. If it is lame or broken in some way, then when I take it in the fields it is mine no longer will it be considered yours or its Mother.”
Weakness would not be tolerated. She didn’t care what sort of pup this would be, but she would break it down to become something far better. In a way it’s something the Monster was quite good at doing and she was willing to do it all over again, for another, whether the pup would accept it or not. The child was part of weak parents and so she would squash the weakness out of it, and create it to be something respected and feared. Make its parents pay for the crime they committed.
