“Being rich is more important than having close friends”. Due to the tradition of today’s society standards most people tend to strive for wealth and to become rich one day. To the many people who think of this tend to have a perspective that having money and materialistic items is great and improves there satisfaction in their lives. But the question is does money really make one rich? Well yes metaphorically speaking it does as currency is value led and is vital to live in this so called world. But money is not one of the most important factors in our life. For example having true close friends is worth more than all the money in the world as money is only capable to buy tangible items. Such as clothes, makeup, shoes, house. Cars, etc. While these items can make the buyer feel happy it is only temporarily but on the other hand a true friend is the opposite as it gives us sentimental and emotional help and more. As a true friend will constantly support, encourage, and accept someone for who they are at both good and bad times. While money is great friends are better as they create great memories with us that we sure will remember our whole lives not only that but because of going through the simple way of life we don’t have to go through the thought on accessing money. Friendship then is valuable than wealth because it cannot buy trust, respect, love, and much more which shows that money can’t buy everything in this world. An example of this could be that you have enough money to many mansions and cars but this won’t give you full happiness in your life you could end up in debt and have depression etc. As money is not seen a way to buy a long a prosperous life along with unlimited happiness as once the money is gone you’ll run out of this so called temporarily happiness. This is seen by most celebrities who have all this money but later don’t see the point of it and end up having depression if not worse they end up killing them self’s because of the harm of their actions. So lastly society establishes in people’s minds that our culture is materialistic, teaching us to want the expensive things we see in the world, yet that mindset does not guarantee happiness. However, there are better things than being rich. Friendship, love, integrity and generosity are at the top of the list and money cant buy theses
