In an effort to inform the membership about the 2 candidates for Pension Board Firefighter Trustee, I contacted them both to provide you with a brief bio of each. District Chief Greg Reed has been with TFR for 27 years. He was elected 1 year ago to fill out the term of Mark McCrae who resigned to enter the DROP. He is now running for a full 3 year term. Greg is not entering DROP and plans to retire in 6 years when his wife, Captain Jennifer Reed of TFR, retires. He is the son of Retired TFR D/C Paul Reed and brother of Retired TFR Captain Kevin Reed. He has found the first year to be challenging but rewarding and is looking forward to serving as trustee for 2 more terms if reelected twice. Driver Engineer Aaron Hanson has been with TFR for 10&1/2 years after 3&1/2 years with Pasco FR.He has followed Pensions issues for the past several years and would like to participate and contribute as a Board Member. Aaron plans to run again if not elected this time. Replies: There have been no replies.
