For such a solitude creature she was quite capable of being social when it was necessary. The wolves within the fields were always allowed to receive her undivided attention. She did not mind at all when they would come to seek her out or vice versa. For a wolf that had no one care for her when she was young she was quite capable of showing she could care for others. How confusing and interesting all the same. The Monster was a misunderstood creature and in a way that was perhaps the reason why she was a great Alpha. She was capable of seeing others in a completely different light. Adapting herself to their needs she took the time to study and understand those that she served. This pup that had constantly trespassed into her pack was one that reminded her entirely of her imprint and the child she chose to take her place. The request to touch her was one she was not bothered to provide.
Quietly she stands there, lowering herself to the ground, allowing the colorful pup the chance to touch her. Touch was something that Tick Tock did not like. Touch reminded her of the abuse. Touch reminded her that the pack she was born into would harm her out of hate and fear, not love or affection. Sekhmet was given such a rare opportunity and it as good she did not hesitate or dillydally. Her eyes would close as she remains still, feeling how the younger one vigorously brushed herself against her mauled face, her deepen scars pressing firmly against the softness of the younger one’s fur. These scars that marked her entire body was evidence and proof that she was battle born, a survivor, a fighter, a creature that no one should ever cross with. As she hears the child wish to explore she inhaled softly and exhaled slowly.
“You wish to see the fields? It is vast and would take days. You should find some others that live here, that can take you to places.”
There is a grin on her mauled face as she turns her dial to the girl. Although she would have wandered through the fields with the girl, she could not. The fields were vast and wide and it would take a very long time. As Alpha she had to do other things for her pack. One being to keep them safe during this terrible heat. However, that would allow this one the chance to visit and speak with the other wolves that thrive here. Perhaps the child will find others similar to her or those that she would like. It was important for new members to mesh and bond with the others. Her desire for Thoth is not surprising at all. After all he was the reason why she came. However, when she wanted to stay that caused the Monster to stand back to her usual stance, her dial looking down upon the child. Her words were slow, allowing the girl the chance to follow and digest her words, but her tone was firm and cold as always. Sapphire eyes stared straight into the pup’s without blinking as the Monster spoke once more.
“If you stay you will follow the Alpha’s rules and orders, my rules and orders. You can stay if you are able to accept all wolves, each one is different. Some wolves here like the taste of wolf flesh while others do not. You will do everything you can for the pack, you will care for the other wolves, you will serve the pack. If you can do all these things you can stay. Can you do all these things?”
