She enjoyed slipping into the state of tranquil sleep soaking in the cool touch of stone. This place was much more bearable to her thick dark coated body. She felt comfortable here and out of the sun's harsh grasp. The water even held a fresh scent in the air. Not much could disturb the well-hidden beast little did Sekhmet realize, she had been tailed. She had never had to be concerned with others and so she rested contently; that is until a chime like the sound made her ear twitch back and forwards again. Her lips parted before her eyes had the chance to open. A slight growl escaped her maw as she breathed in the scent of her company. She knew it was a female and she smelt vaguely similar to Thoth leaving her growl to deepen as she glared at the girl all while shifting her paws and standing before to the chocolatey creature.
Her mind snapped at her and she snapped at the air not yet lunging at the girl. If she dares try and flee now Sekhmet would certainly go after the little chocolate and golden girl. Her mind didn’t register she could be related she only knew of the similarity and jealousy burned harsher than the sun did to the earth, it set her ablaze and if her gaze could kill this wolf would be broken before her and yet some part of her mind held her paws in place;
Her possessions had their own lives and yet Thoth was special in the way he was a constant companion and she even allowed herself to be of his own. She would rip the flesh off and consume those who challenge that. Her tail twitched slightly in anger her movement morphing into a posture of a wolf about to spring out at its prey. Logic said she should cut off her prey's escape, jealousy demanded she simply springs forward and grabs her throat, and yet some part of her mind held her still sparing the girl of all the fury that billowed from her energy as though she were an active volcano ready to unleash vengeful wrath upon the earth.
