During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

It had been some time since the last pack meeting in Munashii Gekko, but there was one happening now and Summer knew that he would attend. He hadn’t been around the pack too much as of late, but he was glad to see that nothing major had gone on since the last meeting. Ameira was still the one calling the meeting, which means she was still in charge of the pack. He could only assume that Blood Titan was still leading with her, but his vocals had been mixed in with hers when she called. That didn’t necessarily mean anything though, he wasn’t required to call the pack with her. This turned out to be the case as the male alpha was there when Summer arrived, and he gave the brute a respectful nod in greeting as he approached. As his form arrived to answer the alphess’ he saw that he was not the first to arrive. Concern fell onto Summer’s features as he saw the state that Horizon was in, but it wasn’t his place to ask what had happened to the other male. His attention turned when he saw they were joined by another a female that he knew from his time in Bright Moon. Karla walked in, but sat herself away from him and the others that were there. He tried to give the femme a warm smile, but she didn’t seem to want to associate with the others right now.

Blood Titan addressed what Summer was thinking, and probably the other two females that were there as well, when he checked on Horizon. “Horizon, is this something we can help you with? If someone is targeting you we need to know.” Summer’s yellow orbs turned to look at the maned wolf, hoping that there was something the pack could do to help. The male didn’t know the dark history that came with some of the kalaks that resided within Blossom, but what he did know was that he wanted to help out a packmate in any way that he could. Summer’s attention was taken away from his injured packmate when he saw and heard the approach of one that was near and dear to his heart, Nzingha. The male had wondered how she was doing and where she had wandered off to, but he thought she was old enough to be okay on her own. Clearly this had not been the case when he saw the state she was in now, and guilt immediately swept over him. Her vocals reached his audettes as he rushed to her side, a whine of concern escaping him. “Danger…he is gone.” Summer’s nares went to Nzingha, feeling every inch of her skinny form. What had happened to her? Her eyes were squeezed shut and there was no more muscle on her where she once was full of it. He knew that she loved Danger, but did this all happen because of him? Had he done something to her? Summer didn’t think that was the case, the blind male had onl wanted what was best for the female.

There seemed to be no obvious wounds on the female, so Summer tried to relax a little, she didn’t seem to be in immediate danger. His heart went out to her, knowing how much it hurt to lose someone that you loved. He had not only lost his family, but the one female he had ever loved had disappeared on him years ago. ”Nzingha, I am so sorry.” There was nothing more that he could do, nothing could bring back the one that she loved. All he could do was try to be there for her. The smoky grey brute stayed by her side, not wanting to leave her again now that she was here. She spoke up once more, “What happened?” and Summer turned to look at Horizon once more, waiting to see what he would say in explanation.
