My Pack,
A year and a half ago I returned to the mountains, and my intention from that day forward was to build Spirane back up from the inside. That has not changed. Much has happened since then that you can be proud of - we have welcomed many visitors over the months and hosted several events. The pack is healthy. Despite consistently being the most active pack in Moladion, our numbers have not grown - though they also do not dwindle. Those who continue to call the mountains home have not stepped forward to prove themselves to their pack mates. And so today I set forth refreshed tasks to you, for I feel that our pack has begun to plateau. There can be no more growth without challenging oneself. I know each of you are capable of taking on more responsibility. These tasks are not easier than those I have set before, but perhaps more concise and to the point. I welcome any wolf, aged two or older, to declare themselves as working towards these ranks by posting your intent in the cbox below. Those younger than two may discuss with me ways to start them on the path towards whatever goals they have set for themselves.

The Small Council
Hand
Advisor in All Things.
There are no tasks I can set for this role. I must trust this individual and form a bond with them. They must show me their skillset and prove themselves as worthy of this most important of ranks on their own merit. I will meet one-on-one with any wolf who seeks to fill this vacancy.

The Pillars
Castellan
Master Warrior.
This rank is already filled by Baird. If you wish to challenge him for this rank, please inform me as such.

Justiciar
Master of Law. Similar to the role of Hand, this is not a rank that is given lightly nor entirely earned through assigned tasks. That being said, this is what you must do to begin to prove yourself as worthy:
(1) Meet one-on-one with me to discuss the politics of Moladion's packs, allies and adversaries, and how you would deal with those who fall into the latter category.
(2) Tasks or assignments will be developed on a case by case basis from there.

Maester
Master Healer. Seek out the mentorship of a trained healer within Spirane or abroad at your own discretion. Learn from them and prove the knowledge you have acquired through these tasks:
(1) Begin your own personal pharmacopeia of healing supplies. Show them to myself or Niviaq to prove your ability to keep stores of medical supplies.
(2) Learn about the complications of whelping, both those that can occur with the mother and the pups. Next spring, attend at least one birthing. If there are no expectant mothers in Spirane, arrange to accompany a healer from one of our allied packs.

Warden
Master of Peacekeeping This wolf is responsible for not only our relationships abroad, but for resolving civil disputes within the pack as well.
(1) By meeting with a member of the pack (not an alpha), gauge how Glorall, Taviora, Asteraia, or Iromar are fairing in regards to their own ranks and population. Inform me if you think there is the potential for a mutually beneficial alliance between our packs.
(2) We have recently hosted many events that opened our borders to strangers. Now, organize something exclusively for Spirane wolves to attend - particularly those who have been quiet these past months.

The Orders
Bard
The Storyteller.
(1) Gather at least three pups (age 0-2) and tell them a story. At least one attendee must be from Spirane. This story can be fact or fiction, but should teach the youths a valuable lesson while keeping them engaged.

Jack of All Trades.
(1) Steal one wolf from the freelands who you believe will make a valuable addition to our pack.
(2) Hunt with another member of the pack. (This may be an official or unofficial hunt)
(3) Tend to an injured or sick wolf - request the assistance of a trained healer if need be.
(4) Meet a wolf from another pack (non-alpha), and glean some type of useful information from them.
(5) When the previous tasks are complete, meet with me to discuss what you have done, learned, and seen.

(1) Speak to a wolf who has encountered one of the beasts terrorizing the freelands - learn what kind of animal(s) they are and where they have been seen.

(2) Investigate the recent rock slide that occurred on the northern slopes of the mountain and learn what caused it.
