Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

A Promise Was Made

Drizzt was shocked how sharp Motionless' tongue was, along with her response. 'Well she should learn to bite her tongue, because I'm not the one she has an issue with.' But the comment was accompanied with a wink and Drizzt smiled at her before rolling over and out from underneath her, shakily getting to his feet. The whole idea of 'touch' was foreign to him, largely because it was something that his father was so uncomfortable with. And his mother... well she had not been present for much of Drizzt's puphood. But there Motionless had been - just atop of him, their hairs intertwined, their skin nearly touching. The normal teenager would have likely been overcome with hormones, but Drizzt instead felt very nearly awkward. It was as if the sudden contact had been his fault instead of her tackling him, as if he had been improper in his actions.

A soft "sorry" fell from his lips as he rolled away, but whether it was because he was moving away from her or because of his own self-assumed guilt, it was unclear. But she did not seem to hear him as she continued on with her playful jesting. 'Maybe I should pay them both a visit and work things out.' Though it was a joke, Drizzt did not think it was a half-bad idea. Though he did not know Lucaya, he knew that she had ruled over two different lands - surely such a queen was strong. Would not it be best if they all put aside their differences and instead worked together toward a greater good? For the real enemy in the world was the purest of evil, and that war - along with all of its smaller battles - would need as many strong warriors as possible.

'Your Father seems to have a kind heart but... Love is a strange thing. Very strange.'

It seemed an odd thing for the ess to say, as if it was from personal experience. But she shared no story, no explanation. And Drizzt did not ask - out of kindness to save her from the pain of a memory. But there was also a part of him that did not want to know - though Drizzt was not able to put into words why exactly that was. So instead, he merely smiled and nodded. "He is kind, and has a lot of heart, yes. But he seems different, Motionless, he seems broken. When I left with my mother to come here, father was strong and protective of us. But now it is just the opposite - I am taking care of him. He hunts, but only because I am there to remind him of hunger. He has lost weight and his coat is thin. He responds when I talk, but it seems... off. He is not verbose... but he never is. It is... hard to explain. Ah but now I am rambling and surely I am bothering you. But..." Drizzt looked to his ground, electric lavendars searching for answers that he could not find. But that was it, wasn't it? Slowly Drizzt looked up. "His eyes - they are dead when she is not around, but light up when she is. It is as if she is all that matters to him... and that isn't how it should be. It is like he needs her instead of wants her... isn't that wrong?"

After they continued to talk about Aindreas and his faults, the conversation switched to other things - to Drizzt himself. 'Well, my dear, Malignant welcomes you always with open arms.' Drizzt smiled at her and peered about - to many the dark trees, the shadows which could hide any number of lurking beasts, the sheer quiet all seemed to be a foreboding of evil. But to him - it was like home. He had grown up here as a pup, and to date had spent most of his life there. "I am glad that I found my father... but I also am not. Part of me wonders what it would be like if I had never left here..."
