It may not seem possible, but the Monster was pleased with her children. Ever since they came into this world she began to teach them everything she knew. She wanted to make sure that they would survive with anything that Fate wished to throw at them. Now that they were older and near adulthood it was time to pick up the paces, giving them more responsibility, more challenges, watching as they molded and shaped into something absolutely extraordinary. Today she was busy keeping them on edge, teaching them what they needed to know in a fight. It had been awhile since she had to truly use her fangs, claws, and intelligence to outwit and outlast a challenger. Yet even though she was dormant that didn’t meant she wasn’t capable of teaching anyone younger than her, just why it was best to never mess with her, and one day she hoped the same reputation would be held by her children. Nevermore and Gunsynd were excelling and there were moments when she had to use a bit of trickery to keep herself above them...after all she wasn’t ready to be defeated just yet.
As she instructed Gunsynd to attack his sister near her shoulder, she heard the odd voices coming from across the fields, belonging to two of her younger members. With a soft growl she nodded to her children, silently letting them know they could leave and do what they wished, their lessons were done. Slowly she bumped her muzzle and slid it up their cheeks and down their backs, she could be affectionate, when needed. Suddenly she tossed her dial back, her haunting and eerily howl, echoing across the plains, alerting the young ones that the Monster heard – and she was coming. With her muscles already warm and ready she settled herself into a firm jog, she wasn’t as fast as she was in her younger years, but she was still able to keep a steady pace.
Eventually she would make her way towards her two charges, dark sapphire eyes narrowing upon the smaller lupine, a pup. As she got closer she would step towards them, lifting her dial to catch the scent coming off the pup, not asserting her dominance, it wasn’t necessary. Everyone knew she was the Alpha around here and her power and wrath was not to be trifled with. Quietly she stands before the trio, taking note the child was of Iromar, odd. She knew that the new Alpha was supposed to send her a child, and she wondered, was this it? Her cold voice softly rattles from her scarred mule, speaking calmly, cold eyes looking at each wolf’s eyes.
“Toth, what have you brought?
