Moonfeather studied her mentor's visage, quietly waiting for her reaction to what she had been told. It was a dream, but the girl felt somewhere deep inside that it was much more than that. Perhaps she was looking for some sort of affirmation from Niviaq, this shewolf who she had come to look up to so much. Patiently she waited, as the elder wolf considered the story and hummed softly. The dark backed ears of the girl pricked attentively when their eyes met once more, expectantly awaiting her thoughts, but Moonfeather lowered her gaze momentarily at the first sentiment she spoke. There was a quiet, sad smile on her lips, wondering how different life might be if the usurper Purge had not come to take what was not, and never would be, hers. Would she be visiting this very moment with MoonGlow, learning the art of healing from her instead of Niviaq? At the thought, her turquoise eyes raised to meet those of amber gold. She could not imagine a life in which she could sacrifice the bond created between them. Following her gaze, she looked to Kutcha and wondered if he could do such a thing. Though he could not speak, they communicated in their own ways. "Perhaps..." she said softly, musing over the possibility. Kutcha looked up at them with bright black eyes and croaked once, then returned to preening.

She looked back to Niviaq, listening as she spoke of MoonGlow and the possibility that such a place could be very real indeed. A hopeful look lit up Moonfeather's eyes, and her tail swayed back and forth over the ground. Then and there she decided that in her spare time, between lessons and gathering of supplies, she would explore the remote regions of Spirane that others did not venture to. If the cave existed, she would find it - hopefully with Kutcha's help.

As the moment passed, Moonfeather's mind began to return to the tasks at hand. She had much to learn, and though she was sure she could while away the afternoon in relaxed company with Niviaq, it was important that she gain some new knowledge in this too. Since a young age she had known the basics of healing, some learned from her father, and built upon in her early interactions with the mentor who sat across from her now. Perhaps it was time to delve into more in depth topics, specialties and the like. "I know it has been some years since Spirane's wolves brought new life into the world, but I would like to be prepared should something ever go wrong with a birthing. Would you teach me what to do, if something goes awry?" It was perhaps one of the most important facets of a healer's duties, and when healers were most needed in Moladion. She wanted to learn about tending broken bones and what to do if there was something that ailed a wolf from inside the body, but the matter of birthings seemed of utmost importance, perhaps because Moonfeather hoped that there would be new pups upon the mountainside next spring.
