INTERSTING CASE

Any input for this case please...A 75 years old male patient presented with double vision, orthoptic assessment showed 3th and 6th nerve palsy, MRI showed a degree of brain stem ischemia, few weeks later developed bilateral ptosis with very limited ocular motility with persistant double vision it is a case of progressive external ophthalmoplegia...has been referred to neurologist ... any suggestion regarding further management of this case? action plan..
