. CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site
There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities.
This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only.
We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund.
Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster.

AUCTION OF REGIMENTAL SILVER AND PROPERTY
Attached below is the link to London Auctions who are the professional auction house contracted for the Phase 1 sale of Regimental silver and property. The sale items were looked at by the Regimental family in 2013/14 when the Regimental property was brought together at Woolwich. The items for sale in this phase have been deemed surplus to Regimental needs. Undoubtedly there will be a degree of emotion and sentimentality when you see some of these items and the choice of items for sale has not been easy but they have been agreed by the Regimental Council and the four Regimental museums.
The intent is that this sale is for the internal regimental family only (serving and former members of the Regiment i.e. Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers, Royal Fusiliers (City of London), the Lancashire Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers). RHQ would be grateful if Regimental members would refrain from forwarding the link to non-Regimental members as this may prevent a piece of property being acquired by a Regimental member. This site is a closed site and not available to the general public - please keep it this way.
