Many of you may not be aware that Stayner has created an Eco-park on parts of its sewage lagoons, with trails, interpretive panels (in progress) and a sort of birding blind. Masses of Mallards there today, along with a couple of Ruddy Ducks, American Coots, Buffleheads, Black Ducks, and maybe a distant Redhead. Very welcoming place for birders!
To get there, take Mowat Street from the east end of Stayner for about 1 km north; entrance on the left. Replies: There have been no replies.
