Rocco back "home" for good, expects to play Sunday

Pro player and NJAA alumni "Rocco" is back home in Tampa- this time for good. He got transferred from the Hollywood Florida Hard Rock Casino to the Tampa one, where he is employed as a blackjack dealer in addition to some jai-alai "stints" like the one recently in Ft. Pierce.

The Tampa casino alone generates 1/2 of Seminole Tribe revenues of 2 billion dollars and dealers make much more in tips. The casino is adding a couple hundred employees and Rocco was successful in a transfer.

He will be added back to the list of players on the active roster. For the past couple of years, he had only played in a few games during his 3 or 4 brief visits here yearly.

He expects to play this Sunday after overcoming an ankle injury he suffered in Connecticut October 21st in the tournament event.

Oddly, I learned of his return while letting him know I would be in Dania this weekend. Now I will be done there while he is back here!

Congrats on the "promotion" and it will be good to see you back out on the world's greatest court! (choke, choke)
