Randy impressive in NJAA debut but suffers mild contusion Posted on November 30, 2016 at 06:12:13 PM by Jeff "Laca" Conway
Jai-alai ambassador Randy - the first American pro jai-alai player and the only player to play in 4 decades, made his NJAA debut last evening.
Randy, who played pro in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, was impressive in his four games despite getting clocked by hard throw off the wall in the frontcourt from Ricky. He was hit in the knee area and suffered a mild contusion in the 2nd game he played, but continued to play without complaint. He won the next game playing with Belota.
Randy plans on returning soon and appeared to have a good time. He actually saw some amazing action with some great play from Magic Mike, Ricky, Belota and Rule that would rate near the top of some of our greatest follies ever.
Welcome Randy! Replies: There have been no replies.
