Now that NaNo month is over... Random Meets returns!!
For those who haven't participated before, here's how it works. You can sign up as many characters as you like by posting below. Those characters are then randomly paired/grouped and given a writing prompt. It's a fun way of creating new threads.
This time round I'm adding two twists.
-> For every post over 300 words you complete in your random meets thread(s), you can claim +5 points for that character.
-> All characters entered will also be thrown into an additional mass crazy thread with a given prompt. This will be more of a speed thread with no expectation to write more than 300 words per post. (It's also totally non compulsory if you're not down with this bit.)
To sign up, simply reply to this thread with:
Character name: Thread preferences: (e.g. pair with someone you haven't rp'd with before, male/female pairing, etc)
Prompt preferences: (e.g. challenge, exploration/adventure, fight, date, "everyday" meeting)
We'll try and accommodate as many preferences as possible but it really depends on all the sign-ups, so there are no guarantees.
You have until Wednesday 7th to submit characters. Pairings will be made and prompts posted Thursday 8th. Replies:
