Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It was early as the bitter day began touched by the sun, she wasn’t too concerned but she knew for the wolf she intended to seek out once more to ease the desires of nature once again. Enya knew having her son to feed and a brood, if anything became of her pairing with the tricolored beast, would be difficult even for her. Although Ripper perhaps could be good at watching the den she decided to return to the pack of her birth. She could be useful to them for a short time if need be she didn’t mind and she even knew a wolf had once lingered here that might tell her more of her family. She glanced at her son offering him welcome to accompany her the pack of her birth if he so chose but she wouldn’t waste away time. He could decide as he wished but she set off quietly making her way to the pack by the sea.

Enya navigated the smaller channels and avoided the wide waters, she was never a fan of taking a dip when it wasn’t needed. The journey would take most of the day as she took the path from the crags to the grotto. She was in no rush, however cautious she was of others that she passed by, Enya managed to find her paws at Glorall's borders the sky pale and growing darker every moment wasted. The scent of the sea reminded her of her family and she dipped her muzzle for a moment yet shook it off quickly. No one was to know of her past however perhaps she would be remembered here.

She tilted her head back and called, perhaps even loud enough the tricolored beast could hear her but most certainly the alpha would hear her. She settled on her haunches, silently observing as she had done so much of in the past. Perhaps this wasn’t the best idea but she was committed the moment she had called. She had no reasons to return other than her own benefit and every reason to leave, which she very well might, she wasn't certain it very well depended on what hand fate decided to deal her. After all sometimes with every risk comes it’s own reward, even if this place haunted her memories, she would bare it at the very least until she got the answers she half-heartedly wanted.
