Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Such a situation hadn't before wandered into her mind. In all scenarios that Natiya had played out it would be a girl that would wander into the meadow. It was an incredibly difficult thing to do when she opened her mouth and told him no. She had been taught since birth in a subtle grooming that males were dominant. Males were greater than she and that she was to be obedient. Sarabi was a certain unacknowledged exception to the rule. She was Mother and Mother was above Natiya, although the girl struggled to figure out the hierarchy between Blackthorne and Sarabi. Thorne demanded the highest spot but Sarabi did not back down from him so it was a struggle for the silver girl.

She felt intense relief at having gotten the order off her back but also a steel spine. While she understood her place in the hierarchy of life that did not mean that Natiya was not a fighter. She was hidden in the shadows but she knew what to do if needed. Blackthorne's tantrums and sudden assaults were enough to teach her this. No. The single words makes her ears lay back and her eyes drop to the ground in contemplation but she seems to fall back down as well to her belly. His voice is sure, confident. Dominant.

Again she looks at him, noting the expression on his face and while she seems conflicted, she prepares. Just in case he is like Thorne and will suddenly attack in perceived insult. Suddenly he slaps himself down on his haunches. It is the opposite of what she desires and so she lets out a lusty sigh that has a cadence of a growl just barely there. Then she sits up, ears facing back to voice her displeasure.

"No." She answers his word with a rebuttal of her own, glancing away suddenly as if she hears a noise. Her heart hammers for a moment but then calms. It is not Blackthorne. Not yet. But he would come soon and if he saw this boy here. She turns her attention back to him. "I have to keep this field clear for my brother. It is his." Again her angelic voice takes flight, hoping that by explaining this that Enoch will understand. "Do you see now?"
