Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

Parent Stats
* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

STATS
IP: 207.212.124.23

Due Date: January 4th

Pup 1
Male (gender choice by Meryl)
Unhealthy – Infertile

Eye Color: The same brilliant yellow as is father and paternal grandfather.

Coat Color: His base coat is a dark gray, bordering on black that is matte in sheen, seeming to absorb any light which touches it. A medium gray covers his ears, the sides of his muzzle, cheeks, and his lower midsection trailing down toward his rear paws. Light gray covers his lower jaw before trailing down his chest and between his front legs, appearing in two marks over his shoulders and mid-back, covers his front two paws, dots over his eyes and underlines them as well as if to intensify their striking appearance. The same light gray tips his tail and appears to fan out when it is raised. Reference.

Coat Type: Longer than the average and coarse thanks entirely to his paternal grandmother, it does soften some along his ruff and underbelly but he will always look rather puffed up, especially as a pup.

Height/Weight: 36 in/170 lbs

Body Type: He continues to take after the paternal side of the family inheriting a somewhat bulky physique with long thick legs and large paws. Thanks to his mother’s influence he does look slightly more agile than his father, and she has softened his features so that his large head and ears are slightly less noticeable. He will lean more toward the warrior’s stance aided by his deep chest and wide-set shoulders.

Pup 2
Female
Healthy

Eye Color: Bright jade green with yellow rimming her pupils.

Coat Color: Her base coat is a slightly creamy white, though it’s creaminess may hardly ever be noticed. Light brown covers her eyes and cheeks before trailing down her chest and stopping between her front legs. This same light brown covers the front of her ears, the top of her tail, and most of her legs save for the toes of her rear feet, almost making her look as if she has been playing in the mud! She also has pink skin giving her a liver nose and toes. Reference.

Coat Type: Average, though trending toward the short side, it is plush but thin enough that she may be prone to sunburn during the summer months.

Height/Weight: 29 in/90 lbs

Body Type: Every bit as delicate and feminine as her mother, she is taller and weighs slightly more thanks to her father but will be just as agile. Her legs are long, tapering into her lean and naturally athletic body. She will be quick and light on her feet which are smaller than some. Her features appear almost foxlike thanks to her grandmother.

Mother’s Health: 9/10
As an experienced mother this birth is quite routine, perhaps even a bit boring with it being a small litter. The first pup may take longer due to his size but both will enter the world with little ado.
