Outline of the Plot:
While winter temperatures are still generally normal, some milder days are leading to ice storms as well as snow.

Effects:
- Moladion is covered in snow, but that snow has a coating of ice making the snow easier to walk on for some and impossible for heavier wolves and animals.
- Icy rain quickly penetrates fur coats making it harder to fend off hypothermia.
- With the last summer's drought many trees have been killed or weakened thus the weight of the ice can cause branches to break and fall much easier than normal.
- Dry grasses will also leave much of the free lands and packs with large amounts of vegetation vulnerable to wild fires caused by the sudden short, fierce thunderstorms which may roll through.

In Short:
- Packs such as Diveen, Spirane and Taviora will be a bit more treacherous than normal with the slopes and rocks being covered in ice and branches from the forest breaking more easily. All packs though will feel the affects.
- Spriane will be less likely to experience avalanches until spring, but if it were it would worse than usual. Iromar and Glorall will have thinner ice than usual on their water bodies potentially causing more wolves to fall in their cold waters.
- Hunting larger prey will be slightly easier for groups of wolves given the harder time moving through the icy packed snow. Hunting smaller prey will be harder, so single loners may have a hard winter.
- Characters may suffer from the extreme cold. Larger characters may have problems being mobile as they can break the packed icy snow.

Guidelines:
- This is a staff run plot which players may get into as much or as little as they like.
- While in the free lands you may request whatever disasters you would like, and can provide an outline to a staff member to approve and post for you. However if you wish to have a large related disaster (ie: avalanche) within a pack please get permission from the respective alpha first before requesting.
- The coming of spring will signal the break of the onslaught of storms.
- Remember to have fun! This can affect your characters/plots as much or as little as you want it to.
