Today at 3:30 at the intersection of Bond and Victoria Streets in Lindsay there was a crow giving very short, dry, nasally caws. I waited and watched the bird for quite a while to see if it was an American Crow that might break a brief bout of unusual vocalizations. It never did.
So, it seems reasonable to think it could be a wayward Fish Crow. This is right along the Scugog River.
Though a little outside Simcoe County, I thought local birders may be interested to know [I am not an ebirder].
