Winter is the best time of year for raptor watchers! However, despite the simplified and stark background that winter landscapes provide, even experienced birders can find it challenging to differentiate certain species of resident and visiting raptors. Join our expert staff who will provide you with the skills to confidently identify raptors commonly found throughout central Ontario during the winter.
This workshop will be held indoors, combining some hands on experience with our live captive raptors with a presentation that will focus on key species identifiers. No experience required…all nature enthusiasts welcome!”

Cost: $20.00 per person – this includes admission to our interpretive centre and trails (a value of $11 +tax). You are welcome to arrive early and stay following the presentation to explore on your own.
