Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

A SLEEPLESS malice as black as the oncoming wall of night
So it ever was. So will it always be. Such is the nature of evil.

The very existence of the hellspawn were always at the back of his mind. The way the demon child had snarled at him even as he had rushed him, the little body fluffing out as sharp knife-point teeth bit at Underidge's jagged paws. All before Sarabi thrust him away, putting herself between them. Saving them. It boggled his mind and in his fury he had desired to hurt her once more. It had been because of her that this had happened. The way she called to him in some visceral manner.

She was the crux of all his sins.

So he had stayed away for the past few seasons, focusing his attentions upon Matianak and Umbra, although he favored the dark girl more. It was bound to happen. Underidge was not the kind of being that played fair in life. Umbra showed a distinct desire to please him and follow the Shade and his god responded to such devotion with a purring fire within the silver beast. Matianak would suffice but he often waited to see if the girl would challenge Umbra for her spot. If so, he would let it be.

The strong survive but that didn't come without challenges.

Her call drives him towards her, his lips alternating between wrinkling back upon a grotesque snarl and then tucking away his canines. He moves with that haunting pattern of jolting from side to side, pausing near the clearing where her den was hidden. Their scents are strong and pungent. The girls is there, a steady undertone, and the boy's reeks of something that prickles the Thorn of Glorall's fur. And then there she is, standing there as if she has a right to call to him.

And he feels a wicked sort of pleasure and relief in her call. In it he recognizes the desire that he had tucked away, a desire he hadn't even realized had become an itch. To be near her once more. Paravana dulled those senses. "Did you rid yourself of them?" Silver eyes slide across the clearing, noting the lack of pups for the moment. He hadn't even bothered to ask their names because he had thought they would not survive. Had planned on it.
