[ooc] Torram's been in his homeworld this whole time, where time goes a bit differently, so he's now 21! ^_^ [/ooc]

Why had he come to the lake, of all places? It wasn't like it held any special memory for him, though the castle, he supposed, had. But... he'd seen the little bobbing light in the distance and, for some reason, he'd felt compelled to follow after. Fennel had obnoxiously disagreed, but then, that was pretty typical for the purple calico. She'd nestled herself in the front of Torram's shirt after much grumbling, largely because they'd had to swim down from the surface to get here. At least they were nice and dry now, even Fennel's short fur, though the cat was already dreading the return to the surface when and if they decided to go back. As they - the person who belonged to the bobbing light and himself - approached the water's edge, Torram felt himself draw back. Maybe there was a reason they were here at midnight... perhaps they didn't want to be disturbed? Chances were it wasn't even anyone that would possibly remember him, anyways, so startling them was probably foolish. He'd started to step away when he'd heard it, the splash of water.

Feeling like the ultimate creep, he dared a peek. And saw nothing, no one. Next to the lantern stood a wolf, and Torram felt a nagging sense of familiarity. He stood downwind from the creature, so it had not turned its gaze to him yet, but... No, he thought, and shook his head. It almost definitely wasn't Leto. Why would Alethea be playing in the lake at this time of night anyways? No, the wolf was probably some fairy blessed with shapeshifting, come to enjoy a quiet dip in the cool, still waters. Torram let out a yawn and turned his back on the clearing. He'd track down Danny and see if he could sleep over for the night, then go about getting the rest of his stuff figured out. He'd gone some distance away, far enough that he could only barely see the lantern, when a female voice floated to him. He froze, eyes widening. It sounded almost exactly like Alethea! A bit more grownup, sure, but Torram would always recognize his first crush... Sensing a burst of mischief from his familiar, Torram tried to catch her as she pounced out from his shirt and landed softly on the ground.

"No, Fennel, don't!" he hissed, but the lilac calico had already made a beeline for the lake's edge again. Torram hurried after, snapping a twig in his rush to catch his wayward familiar, and cursed himself as the lantern went out and Alethea's voice came again once more. "Is someone there?" The cat dashed towards the voice first, a breathless Torram following after. He felt his cheeks warm again as he faced her; Alethea hadn't aged much more than when he'd last seen her, but for him... time had flowed differently, it seemed.

"Erm, hi," Torram said awkwardly, running a hand through his dense, curly hair. "Long time no see, huh?"

Fennel, oblivious as ever to the dangers around her, ambled right up to Leto, gaze focused firmly on the wolf's tail. It looked fluffy enough to bite, didn't it? She crouched low, bum in the air and wiggling, before Torram hurriedly scooped her up.

Edited for Appearance: Tor is tall and has filled out quite a bit, looks fit & healthy but no bulging muscles or anything crazy. His skin is a bit darker than before due to time in the sun; his hair is cut short and he has a short beard, military-type style.
