Calvin remembers racing Cal!
Calvin could try convincing Tahl to sing... He's trying to not be the only voice around Shaman. It might not work out, but could be fun. And I think he should go be a doctor. Peets is always an annoying voice of reason ish. Nim is pretty lost on what to do, too, but not lazy, just evasive.
Nim can't get down to the castle right now (swimming under the water and all that). Darby could. He's not terribly judgmental. Same with Calvin.
Sapphire I think is due for a meeting with Darby in the castle. He likes meeting people.
Angela sounds fun. After she's born and aged a bit she and Darby could meet and possibly agree to disagree on a lot of things because he'd be easy to manipulate and it sounds like if he does unwise things he could end up sat down for a talk from Whimsy or Calvin. So yeah, Darby makes a good usable friend and ex friends can be enemies later on (Darby is usually too daydreamy to notice enemies).
